We have a train depot, but for cargo trains. The passenger trains go through here, but do not stop. For example, if you're going south to Orlando, you must first drive north to Raleigh to catch the train, which will pass back through my town on it's way to Orlando. Plus, you'll have to pay for long-term parking for your car in Raleigh if you don't have someone to drop you off; which is cheaper than Uber from here to Raleigh, then back here on your return.

However, we hear news of a metro system coming to the RTP. And, Biden is big on trains; building up the system and getting high speed trains is in the infrastructure plan the administration passed recently. It might take a decade, but I think it will get here eventually.
