We never got to do anything like that when I was growing up. My father only drank at home. He'd have only a drink at the chief's club. He only ever drank to excess at him, that I recall. The chief's club is about the fanciest place we were ever taken as children too – and only a handful of times. We didn't even get to Mickey D's very often. My parents went out, dressed in their finest, about once a month. And, mother's car was always brimming with the detritus from her fast food experiences. We kiddos were left at home.
