Well, in one of the places I lived, there was a street named "North" that ran east-to-west. It was apparently named for someone's surname. It was still strange.

Then, there's also Memphis' infamous "Sea Isle" that runs a really strange and often broken circuit through town – there's a section of the road that runs east to west AND there's a section that runs north to south, PLUS there's a section that runs southwest to northeast. Seriously, check Sea Isle in Memphis TN on Google Maps. Getting lost on Sea Isle is a right of passage in Memphis! LOL
