Well… mostly. I read a newsletter from one of the top admin guys. He claimed it was bots and spam and fraud, oh my! And, he claimed it had been resolved.

However, Stubblebine apparently posted a job notice on LinkedIn for some kind of site developer in which he said that "Medium almost died."

It would seem prudent to remove the bots and frauds when they're identified. But, they never seem to be taken down. Personally, I wonder who really owns the bots and scam accounts that never seem to be taken down from the site.
