…urants, no matter how fancy, are seldom any better. I’ve given up even ordering tea when eating out. I have learned the hard way that it’s not going to end well, when they only offer you cream to go with your tea. Their best effort usually involves bringing out a container of hot water in a small pitcher, to which you can add your tea bag, to be selected of course from the same kind of boring suspects. However, the water is never hot enough by the time it gets to you, so steeping is futile.
