Why is Biden flawed?
He's achieved more than any POTUS since FDR.
He passed the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure package – the single most fundamental and largest investment in national infrastructure in more than forty years.
He signed the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, meaning enhanced background checks. The Act closed the “boyfriend” loophole and provided funds for youth mental health. It's the most major gun legislation passed since the Clinton era.
His administration invested nearly $370 million in climate change through the Inflation Reduction Act. In the same Act, he capped drug expenses and implemented drug price negotiation for seniors on Medicare.
He cut child poverty in half with the America Rescue Plan. The Plan also reduced healthcare premiums by around $800 a year.
He lowered drug prices for life sustaining medications, like insulin and other diabetes med, heart and blood pressure meds, cholesterol meds, etc.
He won't stop trying to provide student debt relief.
We have among the lowest unemployment rates in US history under his administration
He implemented a 15% tax on corporations to make them pay more towards their fair share.
He rejoined The Paris Agreement and strengthened NATO. He united the overwhelming majority of world nations to support Ukraine after Russian invaded. And, he's held that support together all this time.
Over seven million jobs have been created due to his policies.
He strengthened American manufacturing and innovation with CHIPS.
He reauthorized the Violence Against Women Act through 2027, even though most republicans voted AGAINST it.
He supports the unions and labor. He supports women's bodily autonomy. He defends LGBT inclusion. And, he halted federal executions after Trump reinstated them, undoing the previous 17 year freeze on them.
Everything he's achieved benefits the majority, the workers of the middle class and the poor. Every policy he fights for is grounded reflects his bone-deep decency, and his compassion and empathy for the "little guy" – for the middle class and the poor over the wealth class.
He's human. But, he's anything but "flawed."
