Yeah… preacher's sons were always among the most constrained. However, I'd lay odds that the daughters were far and away more constrained, plus for a helluva lot longer. I think it's why you so often see them marrying before they're even out of high school – just to get away from the parents.

That's a sad trend in rightwing families, especially among kids growing up in evangelical circles. Three of my sisters saw a man wanting to marry them as an escape from our oppressive evangelical family life. If it wasn't for my Gran, I probably would have done the same.
