Yeah… there was no doubt about my son either. Not because of his looks or personality. He was born with this hereditary weirdness with which my relatives are often born.

When the nurses were examining my newly born son, they were surprised by it and quickly called the doctor. My husband, who was watching exam through the observation window on the postnatal recovery nursery, was freaking out over what looked to him like something wrong with his premature new son who was born 5 1/2 weeks early.

Mother tapped on the window and a nurse came out to be asked what was up. She explained they were concerned about an "anomoly" at the base of our son's spine. Mother replied, "Oh, that's hereditary. His mom has one too."

And, then she went on to explain that several people in our family line had it, including my Gran. I too was born with it and I passed it on to my son. They'd never seen one before. Of course, they still had to check it out before they affirmed Mother's diagnosis.

My son inherited the anal dimple. 🤭

That's a feature no one could fake. LOL
