Yeah. They screamed "socialism" over Social Security and Medicare. They screamed it over public education too. Funny thing, no one realizes all our public infrastructure is socialism. The postal service and police are all socialism. Every public road and bridge is because of socialistic policies. Even our ballot polling system is socialistic to a point. Oldsters, with their public educations, happily collect their SS and Medicare, using their taxpayer funded necessary social services to go to the socialistic polling places and vote against their own interests because they've been deluded into fearing that boogey-word "socialism."
