Yes. We cannot just leave people wallowing in their alternative facts. We must choose. It's time and past time to choose a side. Either someone is on the side of compassion and aspirational progress, or they are on the side of oppression and marginalization.

As I just said to someone who gave the "both sides" argument call for "a wide open mind" and said we would do better to respond with "patience, respectfulness, and kindness on both sides" and to leave everyone to their opinon:
