Y'know, it doesn't have to be a flame cremation. There's bio-cremation and green-cremation too. Those are a bit more difficult to access because they're not full legal everywhere yet. Then, there are the Tree Pod Burials — also with questions of local legality.

I'd prefer not to take up land as a poison and chemical cocktail in a hermetically sealed box. Ultimately, it's going to be up to our son. I think he'd probably hang on to an urn until he found his forever place in the world.
