You seem to be laboring under the misconception that "unconditional love" means no discipline nor expectation of appropriate behavior. Love in any form means no such thing. If you truly love, you correct one another in love. It's not love when you just let someone run roughshod over relationship, societal, and/or legal expectations. That's not love – that's obsession.
