You wrote, "Chris Rock is not a bully" – but, don't you grasp that "punching down at Black women" is bullying. That bullying has been a running theme in his comedy.

I too which Smith had used his speech to call out the bullying and to address the abuse of Black women. Imagine the power of those words if he'd done so… If Smith had done that, it would have been Chris Rock who became the pariah.

Instead, the slap saw Smith made a pariah and Jada came under fire as being the cause. Rock's bullying of Black women since the 1980s goes unremarked in the race to vilify the Smiths.
