You're denying the facts and lived experience I've shared.

It IS already having an impact.

In 2022, the midterm elections saw Democrats gain in the Senate and the GOP barely squeak out a win in the House of Representatives. Historical trends indicated that the GOP should have swept the Senate and House by comfortable to large margins. They expected to win, claiming a "Red Wave" was going to wash Dems out of Congress. Instead, the GOP almost exclusively only took seats that were radically gerrymandered in their favor.

There have also been a couple of special elections for the House since then which have narrowed the GOP minuscule margin even further. Then, as the news is reporting this morning, last night the GOP lost again – Wisconsin elected a liberal justice to their state Supreme Court, and Chicago elected a Democrat as mayor. In both races, the GOP was projected to win going into the elections.

All across the nation, since the 2018 midterms (when Dems took back the House), the GOP has lost ground politically, even with their extreme gerrymandering of voting districts in Republican-held state legislatures. And, the head of their party is still a twice-impeached, one-term, now criminally indicted former-president who never one the majority of votes cast. He NEVER won the popular vote, not even for his one fetid term in office. He lost by 3 million votes in 2016, and by over 7 million in 2020. The GOP is losing ground and Trump is done as soon as the Jan 6th special counsel convened Grand Jury hands down a 14th Amendment, Section 3 indictment against Trump, which will bar him from ever serving in public office again.

America is in the process of cleaning house. And, that will mean swinging back to a new era of civil rights expansion.
