You're very lucky your puppy survived.

When you bring a puppy home, make sure he is at least 1 month old. Mine was only 1 week old and I barely had any idea of how to take care of him. And this made me do lots of mistakes that made him feel uncomfortable.

You're very lucky your puppy survived. You got him before he would have been weened from the mother. Most animals don't survive being taken from the mother that young.
